Unseen Wounds: Young People’s Journeys to Mental Wellness.
In today’s fast-paced world, young people often grapple with unseen wounds. These are mental health challenges that can profoundly impact their lives. These struggles, though invisible, are as real as physical ailments and require our attention and empathy. The journey to mental wellness is not easy, but it is possible.

By fostering open dialogue, providing accessible resources, and offering support, young people can be facilitated to navigate their paths to healing. Let us recognize their unseen wounds and stand by them in their courageous journeys to mental wellness.

Together, we can build a compassionate and resilient future. Safe and convenient spaces can be very instrumental in helping young people overcome their troubles through facilitating counselors and peer to peer learning. Utilization of our virtual global community to share information aimed at demystifying mental health is perhaps the most readily available tool at our disposal.
To this end, Mazungumzo is excited to announce a one month mental health campaign as a pre-anniversary activity running up to the commemoration of the Youth baraza anniversary which shall be held soon- at a time to be communicated. We are confident that the campaign will be able to throw more light on the problem and possibly attract solutions and dialogue on how best to heal the unseen wounds. Ours is to prepare the road by creating a better tomorrow.
