Hope Suzan Hilda is a passionate and dedicated lawyer committed to promoting justice, human rights, and peaceful conflict resolution. As a legal aid practitioner at FIDA Uganda’s Kaabong clinic, Suzan provides critical support to vulnerable communities, empowering them to claim their rights.
In her volunteer capacity as Chief of Staff at Mazungumzo, Suzan leads a team dedicated to resolving conflicts peacefully, fostering dialogue, and promoting social cohesion.
Beyond her professional roles, Suzan is a devoted mentor and advocate for young girls and teenage mothers, inspiring them to pursue their dreams and overcome challenges. Through her mentorship, she provides guidance, support, and empowerment, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
A proud alumnus of the prestigious Franklin Institute for Public Management Leadership Program (2nd cohort) and the Girls for Girls Law Development Centre, Suzan has developed strong leadership and legal skills. Through her work, volunteerism, and mentorship, she continues to make a meaningful impact in her community, inspiring positive change and advocating for the rights of marginalized groups.
