The Mazungumzo Class (TMC)
Mazungumzo uses ideological orientation as a special purpose vehicle to build a community of young people intentional about living a meaningful life. This is done through the Mazungumzo book club and the Mazungumzo class. In the Mazungumzo class, Participants have talks as lesson presentations from finely selected speakers who are knowledgeable or experienced in the area of study. As is with all our projects, the class is free but designed to a specific schedule dictated by an intense curriculum followed by the admitted members. Intending members have to apply and wait to be considered. The curriculum has been designed under the theme “Living a meaningful life”.
Our class system means that there are two categories of participants under this program; learners/students and instructors/teachers. A teacher in one class could be a student in the next. This helps to create a cumulative system of knowledge acquisition and ensures uniformity of progress among all learners. Currently in its first year, the Class is conducted through a blend of online and physical delivery mode as circumstance permit largely be a virtual/online interaction.
